Crafting: sewing shirt for the girls

I bought these fabrics thinking it would make a cool shirt for Synthia and Fairlight.
Took me 2 hours but now it's done! Hope they like it!

Crafting: skeleton print on pants

My prince TeeBee is turning 6 on Saturday so I'm making him a pair if cool pants.

What kind of parent let's her kid wear white to school is the obvious question(?), and yes, it gets SO dirty but for the first half of the day it looks fab.
I want fab kids!
My kids rule school because they are cool!
I'm totally aiming for the best parent award this year too ;)

Shopping: fabric

When I was in Stockholm some week ago I bought some new fabrics.
Although I'm a dedicated black Goth I have an embarrassing flair for soft colors. Let's see what I'll make of it.

Halloween make up and Adora pregnant pictures

2006 we were invited to a small Halloween cake party.
Since I have always painted something on my belly a couple of days before I think it's time for delivery this came in handy.
The BIG belly made a perfect pumpkin :)
Little prince TeeBee inside was born 3'd of November 2006, 2 days after the picture was made.
I had gained 22 kilos on this picture!! Whoa! Some scary Halloween!

It's not easy painting on your belly without a mirror and the belly so huge you can't see beneath the "waist".
This is what I painted on my belly before Synthia was born:
Princess Synthia inside, 2 days before delivery as well. I only gaind 13 kilos since she came 2 months too early weighing only 1,8 kilos. She was born with a catastrophic caesarean section 2 days after this picture was made, on the 9'th of August 2003.

And before Fairlight:
Princess no 2; Fairlight got a pink kitten. She was born 7 days after the picture was made. The 11'th of April 2005. I gained 20 kilos with her.

It's truely a wonder I got back to my skinny self watching these pictures - but I did!
And you know I did it using the Montignac Method only (and after the breast feeding was done with).

Halloween crafting - Bloody Nightgown

Since I'm goth I wear stuff like this whenever, but this technique can of course also be used for Halloween stuff. You know, the day when everyone want's to be goth ;)

WARM BODIES Zombie Tutorial

This guy is totally hot as a zombie! He might even get the honour of escorting me home some cold night. Although I do prefer vampires...

My Music Monday's - Playlist 2012

I have misbehaved *slap, slap on my butt*
To correct my fatal error I added 3 new songs to the playlist with good Friday dance music at once.
A bit more less massive since it's straight from the lovely 80's, but still no shame.
Nitzer Ebb - Join in the chant

Adora BatBrat, singer of Nitzer Ebb: Douglas McCarthy, my sister Jennie/Iva Insane.
Such a cosy time - and he smelled great BTW!
Front 242 - Tragedy For You (if you are not able to watch it...)

No cosy picture together....

The Neon Judgement - The Fashion Party

And I just happened to add another in my überspeed I posess:
D.A.F. Kebab Träume

Here's the link to the Blog playlist on youtube.com

Book signing

I'd wish it was my book and I was the one signing - but what the hell would I write a book about?!
It's a book release of the new Bible - about the Swedish electro scene.
I'm in it though!

In about 10 minutes my table neighbour will jump up on stage and sing for us - you might know him as Robert Enforsen, singer of Elegant Machinery.

Here's Robert with my husband Ronny.

Halloween make up scary clown

At TeeBee's school for a Circus party, kind of...
Went as a Halloween scary ballerina clown I guess...

Todays goth make up

I've been on a sewing class with my 18th century society tonight.
I've been cutting in fabric for over 2000 SEK! Bit nervous...but I did it right.

Since we had to call in babysitters I baked a cake since I'm such a Martha Stewart Goth.
I even brought cakes with me to the sewing class to their happiness!

Baking to the babysitters

My husband's parents are going to babysit this evening as I'm at a sewing class with my 18'th century society and Mr BatBrat is having a meeting at work.

And as the good hostess I am I felt the need to bake something for them. I'll go for the Swedish classic; kärleksmums/"love yummies".
Me and Martha Stewart are so alike! But I look more Goth.

Today's look and Goth make up

Old picture of the day

Aww, look at baby me - I look so cute!

This is 2003 so I'm "only" 31 on the picture and our first daughter, Synthia, is 4 months.
Yes, I did use silver spray on the rest of my hair, but the bangs was colored with Directions Silver.

My darling prince, TeeBee, turns 7 the 3rd of November so I've started on the gifts. This contains a Hero Factory robot :)
It turned out so cute!

Goth charity shopping

Found myself at the Red Cross charity shop when I was about to shop for salmon. Strange indeed.
The plates was only 1 SEK each, coffee set 5 SEK and big flask 20 SEK.
(1 SEK = $0.13)
What do do with this stuff then?
The flask will of course get some kind of Goth Halloween label on it, and the rest of the stuff will be used at our weekend breakfasts.
I have been missing a red cup to match everything. Can't wait until Saturday now!

My window view: Fall

I'm a blessed Goth having this view.

This makes me wanna drink chai tea and chat about some boring old book I should have read - you know, like "normal" people do...

Instead I'm thinking about the beauty in dead body's laying in the forest. Slightly blue lips and eyes looking right at me. Well, I'm just Goth I guess...

Saturday Goth: interior design, folding and swimming

Man,I hate laundry days!
Published with Blogger-droid v2.0.6
Obviously I don't do the laundry, but my "job" is to fold and put everything away after. Usually we do it weekdays since they are kind of boring anyway ;) I also remade Fairlight 's room a bit. I hide the lovely red/white wall behind 2 purple curtains to make a big change. The mattress on the floor is our jumping place as well as being used for night guests. We love jumping in there. It's not quite done yet :( Now I'm on my way to a water park again. Kids all excited, me all tired.....

Crafting: Dollhouse

I finally put up the second wallpaper in the "blue room".

Can't take credit for the cool mix of wallpapers though, since the kids picked them out from my computer. The blue trees looks so cool.
I wanna be tiny and live there.

Now it's just the floor left, it will probably be a white wooden floor of some kind.
Crafting dollhouse things is just the best! I'm one hooked dollhouse goth..

Halloween make up last year

Mercy! The clock is ticking - it's almost Halloween again.
Last year I was the classic broken doll. I felt way too cute and not scary so I'll try change that for this year.

Halloween 2012

Soon it's time for "ordinary" people to play Goths for a day.
Black sclera lenses might get them there.

Two pink haired girls got together

I've seen this girl I felt I just had to meet since I find her so inspiring and bubbly (and super pretty of course).
And to my great surprise she wanted to meet me too!!!

It was such a wonderful meeting (for me anyway!) and she was so energetic,  sweet hearted and open the way she talked to me.
To me it felt like a kindred spirit in a way. And she was so smart and humble. I've just been smiling since we meet. She is truly an inspiration and I very much hope to meet her again.

My husband said we we're just like sisters since we were so alike inside our minds <3

To Swedish people she is well recognized as the Goth contestant in Sweden's Top model - although she didn't score first place in the show she is the most recognized and most seen model since the show (AND she's Goth) so she's the winner according to me!
And right now you can watch her in Sweden's version of Project Runway where she really shows her talent.
Can you tell I'm all happy about meeting her?!
And coolest of all - she wants to get fangs like me :)

But now I'm home from my "Stockholm tour" and is safely back home again.

Sweet dreams everyone.

Hotel breakfast

After an 8 hour sleep I woke up still as tired as usual...darn.

Went downstairs to meet the fab breakfast buffet.
I said hello to most of the dishes and invited them over to my plate.
I treated them with respect and ate them all. Need I say my belly almost bursted?
Had a tea as well.
I think I got good value for my money :)

Then we went to Stockholm city by tube.

On my way to Stockholm

Stopping for some gas and looking forward to a 6 hour drive to Sweden's capital city..
I might sound boring, but not to me! I have my husband's undivided attention!
"Poor sucker", our friends think now "- he's got no chance of escaping my endless talk, talk and talk."

BatBrat kids

Friday!
My baby bats got homemade cinnamon buns (just remembered I forgot to share the recipe!) and hot chocolate with whipped cream for their afternoon break today.

TeeBee looks like an old English lady the way he holds his teacup ;)
And darling Fairlight with her braided blue Kanekalon hair she's nagged me about for 3 weeks....
